Together in Healthy Relationships

Almost every emotional and spiritual wound that we’ve experienced has come through a relationship. Relationships are also key to our healing. Relationships are where life occurs. Our determination to experience healthy relationships is directly proportional to our satisfaction with life.

This 6-week course will provide you with the tools and support required to experience massive strides in your relationships.

Attachment styles: A Key to Understanding How We Connect

Every human being is outfitted with specific “default settings” that influence how they experience connection with others. These default settings are commonly referred to as “attachment styles.” This session will explore this important topic. It will provide an overview of how attachment styles develop and the role that they play in our relationships with others. Participants will be aided in identifying their own attachment styles and assessing the impact of these attachment styles upon their relationships. The session will conclude with recommendations for how attendees can enhance their capacity to foster healthy and satisfying connections with others.

Clearly Communicating

Do you desire health in your relationship? What role does confrontation have in that being an experienced reality? The strain in your current relationship and your unwillingness to go through an uncomfortable situation with the tools and character required are tightly woven. Most of us are not confident in being able to assertively communicate, so fear and avoidance become the norm. Come join us to discover how to communicate in a way that allows us to have the relationships we long for.

The Five Essential Ingredients in Love

Scriptures challenge us in the following manner: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God” (I John 4:7). We will explore what this means and will then suggest and discuss five practical essential ingredients that make love real.

Living a Forgiving Lifestyle

“Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did ‘it’ to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.” - Jesus, in Matthew 25:40

The ‘it’ in this verse refers to giving food and drink to the hungry and thirsty and inviting strangers in.  This is a ‘Kingdom Principle’!  Truly, Jesus isn’t just talking about physical hunger, thirst and invitations.  He calls us to a deeply ‘spiritual’ life to be lived ‘over the top’, ‘upside down’ and ‘opposite to the world’ sort of life.

This excites me and challenges me at the same time.  There are so many ways to live this way, and it all comes down to the Empowering of Holy Spirit!!  HE is the One that will teach us and enable us to live this way.

Let’s talk about FORGIVENESS!!  Living FORGIVING!!!  OBEDIENCE that leads to Blessing!!!

What IS forgiveness?  Why forgive?  Whom do we forgive and how many times???(really??)

When and How?

I love sharing about Living a Forgiving Lifestyle because when I started to live this way my life drastically changed.  I know it will change your life as well!!!

Maintaining Boundaries

Relationships are enhanced by clarity being established regarding where the boundaries are. Maintaining boundaries results in better satisfaction and experience of life. Whether we establish the boundaries, have them established on us, or we collaborate them together, we benefit by transparency in our relational boundaries. Join us as we discover the benefit of maintaining boundaries.

Being real with God

Dan is a collector of questions. Loves them. Loves asking them. Loves listening to them. Truth is that questions provide a transformational opportunity for developing authentic relationships. No relationship is more crucial to be authentic in than our relationship with God. God always invites us to be brutally honest with him in our questions rather than fumble through life with crippling silence. Join us as we together grow in the most important relationship you can ever have.
